What is Broadband over Power Line?
Broadband over Power Line (BPL) is a technology that enables the delivery of high-speed data connectivity across existing electric wiring. River City Internet Group’s “Electric Internet” service takes advantage of in-building BPL technology (sometimes called Power Line Communications or PLC) to provide hotels and multitenant building owners with a turnkey solution for rapidly installing high-speed Internet access throughout a building, with every electrical outlet serving as a potential portal to the Internet.
